Chris.SU is one of the most prominent figures, leading DJs and producers of the Hungarian drum and bass scene, who has greatly contributed to putting our country on the style's world map. Throughout his career, he has been invited to play music in almost all European countries, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, while at home, the general public loving electronic music has heard many of his sets at most major festivals (Sziget, VOLT, Balaton Sound, etc.), on the main stage of Akvárium Klub and on A38 Hajó.
Krisztián's musical career started early: from the age of 7 he attended music school where he learned to play the cello, thus acquiring serious theoretical and practical musical knowledge, which later helped him a lot in music production. He has been making electronic music since 1996 and drum and bass since 1999. His first release was in 2000 on Subscope Recordings, which has partial Hungarian ties.
Ever since "Astro-Sine" was released in 2002 on DSCI4, spearheaded by DJ Trace, his tracks have been continuously played by the scene's most renowned DJs, such as Klute, Teebee, Ed Rush & Optical, Matrix, Andy C, Hype, Friction, Concord Dawn, Ill.Skillz, BSE, Pendulum, Flight, and DJ Bailey.
Besides his solo work, he has made collaborative recordings with many well-known artists, such as Concord Dawn, State of Mind, Ill.Skillz, Black Sun Empire, and from the Hungarians, SKC, Mindscape, Jade, and - last but not least - the Tactile crew. With this formation, they released an album in 2006 (Super System LP – Timeless Recordings), and in 2008 their own label, Tactile Vinyl, was launched.
Chris drew attention to himself in 2012 with his 4+1 track mini-album titled FATE EP (a music video was also made for the track "Higher", created together with Mira, the singer of Plastic Heaven). Then in October 2013 – taking his destiny into his own hands – he launched his own label, FATE Recordings, with "Together in the Night", also created with Mira, which was also included on Andy C's "Nightlife 6" mix.
As for subsequent releases, "Above Earth", made in collaboration with State of Mind, made it into Beatport's annual dnb top 100 for 2015, and "Illusion of Choice", created with MC Fedora and Stamina MC, was played in heavy rotation on Petőfi Rádió.
Krisztián's latest video clip is I’m Fine (Without You), also made with Fedora, which was released under his own label and broadcast on several major TV channels.
